Local Fauna

This is one of the puppies that runs around the beach and property. She's incredibly sweet and built like my cat Miles when he's in good form. About the same size too. We've taken to calling her Tiger.

Her head looks huge. I'm not sure if Miles would like the comparison...Glad you found some fur...

Thinking if you each day this week. Glad you are in such a beautiful place doing something you love. Noah turned 40 today...now we are all in the club (well, maybe not Suzy...?

The Journey

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice –
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
“Mend my life!”
each voice cried.
But you didn’t stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
